Working the Ultrasound Sensor

Nick - I would implement this ultrasound sensor in my tent in order to determine the distance that the drone flew. It will give me data on how well the person who is flying the drone is flying. It can determine success or failure depending on how it is set up.

Stephen - I would use the sensor to add a challenge to our tent. Try to fly your drone as close to the sensor without touching it. The centimeter read will tell us how close they were.

Draw backs and limitations of our sensor circuit

Some drawbacks and limitations are If the drone is going to fast then sensor won't read it because the drone will pass by between the detection times. The wires are a little over the place so the drone could get caught in the wire and rip them out. The whole system is fragile, so it can't be moved around too much, or the wires will come apart.  Some ways to remedy these issues are to. Protect the system by encasing it in something. Ramp up the readings per second.
This is our drawing and small-scale model for our tent. Our Fundraising idea was to have a price to try to navigate the course (Say 1 dollar) if they successfully navigate the course then they earn a raffle ticket for a gift basket of some kind.
