Working the Ultrasound Sensor

Nick - I would implement this ultrasound sensor in my tent in order to determine the distance that the drone flew. It will give me data on how well the person who is flying the drone is flying. It can determine success or failure depending on how it is set up.  Stephen - I would use the sensor to add a challenge to our tent. Try to fly your drone as close to the sensor without touching it. The centimeter read will tell us how close they were.

Reflection on our tent design

A few things we would have done differently were... We would have used a different netting material that was more "fine" as in the holes on it were much smaller because large drones would get caught in the netting and smaller drones would get out! We would have used clips to secure our netting instead of zip ties because the zip ties would cut our hands occasionally and also slipped causing holes in our tents that would result in drones escaping.  While we were able to fix the issue of having no bottom it became clear that having a bottom and top is very important.
